Elliot Collins - Managing Director

Elliot has over 25 years’ experience working in the construction and fit-out industries, which includes working for some of the UK’s leading house builders and commercial fit-out companies in senior management roles. Elliot started his career working for a local traditional contractor and progressed to work for Jarvis PLC, Galliford Try and Parkeray, overseeing major projects for numerous blue-chip clients. This enabled Elliot to understand the business from all perspectives and the importance of working in partnership with clients to get the best result.

  After a long career within national construction companies at a senior level, Derek brings expertise on large and small, new and refurbishment construction works under various forms of contracts within the South East of England and London region. Experience gained within Design and Build forms of contract allows a better early ability to advise client’s on their build requirements within a budget and time frame, and being able to evaluate design and build decisions incorporating all statutory bodies, design team and specialist suppliers and installers to minimise risk to deliver projects in a open and trusting co-operation. 

Malar has been with Hartnall Collins for 7 years and looks after the administrative side of the business. Previously Malar spent 20 years working for large Corporates in Finance and Administration and her organisational skills and attention to detail ensure the business runs smoothly.

Sam joined Hartnall Collins in 2019 having worked in a well established rail infrastructure company and a local construction company. Having started his career as a carpenter/joiner and then moving up into management, Sam knows the business from the ground up. His attention to detail and methodical approach to planning and programming are critical skills in ensuring Hartnall Collins deliver on-time and to the high quality we have become renowned for. As you can see from the picture Sam both loves the outdoors and is camera shy!

Simon Mallia, Head of HCCS, has a wealth of experience with over 30 years in the construction industry having worked within the utilities, demolition and recycling sectors - offering best practice solutions that deliver value. His primary goal is to provide cost effective options for demolition and ground work contracts in private and commercial markets.
